HVACR Week- "Where the Industry Meets"

VMS is pleased to announce participation in “HVACR Week” scheduled September 21st through 23rd, 2011 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. We will be located at Booth 661.
HVACR Week brings together three events to create a single, comprehensive industry expo under one roof. This mega-event will be a true destination for the HVACR industry, covering the gamut from design to installation to maintenance and service.
Residential and commercial HVACR contractors will team with designing/specifying engineers and facility managers to learn about the latest trends in the industry and the best business improvement tactics. Plus, the top manufacturers and industry suppliers will be on hand to show off their latest products and services.

Highlights from the 8th Annual VMS Users' Conference
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Florida May 5th-7th,2011
This past month we held our annual VMS Users’ Conference at Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort in Destin, Florida. It was a great opportunity for us to show everyone where we are with Ventus and to get feedback from our users about what we need to do next in the product. Thanks to everyone who attended this year’s conference. Your participation and interaction are what helped to make it so successful.
For those of you who weren’t able to make it to this year’s event, here are some of the highlights.
The first day of the conference was focused on the Ventus product, what has happened over the past year, where we are at today, and what we have planned for the next year.

 

 
Ventus Product
The following are the major applications that we’ve completed over the past year since the last conference:

- Check Reconciliation
- T&M Billing

Ventus Conversions – we have had some delays in converting VMS clients to the Ventus product and we have made some changes to the process to make it more effective. We are currently scheduling for the late summer and fall timeframe. Estimating
VMS Estimating is an application that enables you to prepare a quotation on either Job Cost jobs or Service jobs. It is highly integrated with other VMS applications eliminating double entry of information.
