Training & Installation

New Installs.

Each new installation is assigned a Trainer to guide them through every step before going live with Ventus. Your trainer will be an experienced professional with years of industry and accounting knowledge plus the benefit of having installed systems for contractors just like you many times over. Your trainer’s objective will be not only to implement a new software system, but to help you improve your business along the way.

Our new installs are typically broken down into four key stages:
  • Management Off-site Overview. Typically held at our headquarters in Pensacola, Florida and reserved for upper-level management, this overview session includes System Administration setups, application setup and the development of key implementation schedules and responsibilities.
  • On-site Application Training. Typically held on-site at your offices, these sessions will be determined by the different applications you have chosen for the Ventus system. Your trainer will help each of your staff along the wayto ensure that they know and understand their required parts of the system and will not leave until this is accomplished.
  • Go-Live Training. During this critical time, your trainer will be back on-site for two to three days to answer questions on the spot, review any final setups, and address any areas that need additional training.
  • Month-end closing. During your first month-end, your trainer will again be on-site to ensure that you are using Ventus effectively.

Ongoing Training & Refresher Sessions.

As your business grows and the people within it change, it often helps to have a trainer come out to your offices and spend time dedicated to ensuring that your team is up to speed with the latest features and functionality of the Ventus system.

Group Web Classes.

For shorter 2-hour sessions typically covering only one application or a smaller part of the software, we offer group classes over the internet. To view a schedule of upcoming web training classes, please visit Client Central.
